The Last Kiss Movie Story - Synopsis. A remake of the Italian Drama-Romance movie L'Ultimo Baccio, released on September 15th, 2006 directed by Tony Goldwyn. In short: People in their thities struggle to grow up and their middle ages parents face a crisis. Michael (Zach Braff) meets Kim (Rachel Bilson) who offers sex and adoration in no time. The prospect of settling down and raising a child and perhaps spending less time with his three childhood buddies frightens him. Michael's pals also have their own problems. Izzy (Michael Weston) doesn't want to work in the cheese biz anymore and, weepy and refuses to accept that his girlfriend has left him. Chris (Casey Affleck) and Lisa (Lauren Lee Smith) are having a baby to save their marriage, but the birth of the child has accentuated the problems. When Kenny (Eric Christian Olsen) meets Danielle (Cindy Sampson) he bolts. The characters make more dumb moves than smart ones, still they appear real and sympathetic.
